Profile

I have been married to Walter for 45 years. We have two children. Catherine is a teacher who lives in Polokwane. Wayne is a project manager for a Cape Town company and is engaged to a lovely young lady, Anelle.

Walter is supportive of my crafting endeavours, either by being my critic or buying me "machines" to help me with my crafts.

I have a Cricut (cutting) machine which I just love as well as a Trouvaille and a Cuttlebug, both use dies to cut and emboss.

I started making cards seriously 18 months ago when I attended classes at Country Crafts with Hendrien Vosloo. More recently I have been invited to also give some classes.

ALADDIN'S CAVE

Joan's shop is like an Aladdin's Cave - if only one could go into the shop with a 'pot of gold' to buy lots of the great papers, stamps and dies.

The new Mariaan dies and vintage ladies stamps are lovely and on this card I utilised one of the stamps and the great  new flourish.  The round dies are from 'Simply 2-die-4' which I have surrounded with small flat backed pearls and at the top I have used a Joy die for the leaves and made quilling flowers with flat backed pearls in the centre. The greeting was computer generated.

  1. I must agree with your comments about Joans shop. This card is delightful Jenni. I love your colour combo's and the attention to details. The flourish is stunning and I must investigate these lovely vintage lady stamps. Well done Jen.
